Total RNA was isolated with RNA easy Mini Kit (Qiagen, Hilden, Germany), according to the manufacturer’s instructions and quantified by NanoDrop ND-1000 Spectrophotometer (NanoDrop Technologies, Inc.) and its quality was assessed by Agilent 2100 Bioanalyzer (Agilent Technologies), and only samples with RNA integrity number >8.5 were used.
