Mice from the experimental group were subjected to 10 days of social defeat stress. Brain from control and experimental mice was dissected after conducting behavioral tests.

Age and weight matched C57BL/6-NCrl male mice of 6-8 weeks’ age were used and maintained at 12/12 h light and dark cycle, 25°C ±1°C temperature, 60% relative humidity and standard chow and water ad libitum

Total RNA was isolated using mirVana RNA isolation kit (Ambion) according to manufacturer's instructions

200 ng of total RNA was reverse transcribed to sense strand cDNA by using WT Expression kit (Ambion), as per manufacturer’s instructions. It was then fragmented and labeled, and prepared for hybridization using the GeneChip WT Terminal Labeling and Hybridization kit (Affymetrix).
