Title SAMPLE 2_Normal 70 years
Sample type RNA

Source name Normal_lamina cribrosa cells
Organism Homo sapiens
Characteristics subject status/treatment: Normal
age (yrs): 70
cell type: human lamina cribrosa cells
Treatment protocol For TGFb2 treatment, lamina cribrosa were serum deprived for 24 hours, prior to treatment with 5ng/mL TGFb2 or with control for 24 hours.
Growth protocol Lamina cribrosa cells were maintained in Ham's F10 medium (Sigma Aldrich, St. Louis, MO) supplemented with 10% fetal bovine serum. The medium was changed every 2-3 days and maintained at 37 degrees C with 5% CO2 within a humidified incubator.
Extracted molecule total RNA
Extraction protocol Total RNA
Label SYBR green
Label protocol cDNA was synthesized using the HiSpec buffer and miScript II RT kit (Qiagen, Valencaia, CA, USA).miRNA profiling was performed by a SYBR green-based real-time PCR miRNA array. (MZ117; Qiagen).
