Description |
ONL was dissected from the OBs and cells were dissociated and plated. M3 medium allowed OEC selection. OEC characterization was performed by immunocytochemistry employing typical OEC markers. Over 90% OEC purity was obtained. Cells were serially passed in vitro and cultures that had surpassed 50 population doublings were established as a population of OECs adapted to long-term culture.
