Summary:
Analysis of colon from dextran sulfate sodium (DSS)-treated C57BL/6 males following L-arginine supplementation. L-Arg supplementation improves clinical parameters of DSS-induced colitis. Results provide insight into molecular mechanisms underlying the clinical benefit of L-Arg supplementation.
