Extracted molecule genomic DNA
Extraction protocol Exfoliated bladder uroepithelial cells (BECs) were isolated from freshly collected urine. DNA was extracted from the BECs of 46 subjects using the QIAamp DNA Blood Mini Kit (Qiagen, Valenica, CA) according to manufacturer’s instruction. CpG-methylated DNA was isolated using the MethylMinerTM Methylated DNA Enrichment Kit (Invitrogen/Life Technologies, Grand Island, NY), amplified, and hybridized to Affymetrix Human Promoter 1.0R arrays (Affymetrix, Santa Clara, CA).
Label biotin
Label protocol Labeled DNA were prepared according to the standard Affymetrix protocol

Hybridization protocol Following amplification, DNA was hybridized on Affymetrix Human Promoter 1.0R Arrays
Scan protocol Microarrays were scanned using Affymetrix Microarray Scanner
Description normalized methylation abundance levels (log2 transformed)
Data processing Data were normalized by robust multi-chip averaging using Partek® Genomics SuiteTM software (version 6.6)
supplementary matrix file contains normalized signal intensity, log2 transformed
