The quantity and quality of the RNA samples were analysed with ARN 6.000 NanoLabChip® kit and the Agilent 2100 Bionalyzer (Agilent Technologies, Santa Clara, CA) respectively. Only samples with an RNA integrity number of > 7.0 were used for microarray analysis.
