Growth protocol |
HepG2 human hepatocellular carcinoma cells were purchased from American Type Culture Collection (Manassas, VA) and grown in Eagle’s Minimum Essential Meidum (EMEM) containing phenol red (ATCC, Manassas, VA) supplemented with 10% fetal bovine serum (FBS) (ATCC), 100 U/ml penicillin and 100 μg/ml streptomycin (ATCC) and maintained at 37°C in an atmosphere of 5% CO2.
