Sample GSM2589487 Query DataSets for GSM2589487
Status Public on Jan 18, 2022
Title Telencephalon_nostril_injury_1dpl_rep3
Sample type RNA

Source name Telencephalon, nostril injury, 1 day post lesion
Organism Danio rerio
Characteristics age: 3-5 months
genotype: wild-type
Treatment protocol As described in the paper. We carried out different stab wound injury paradigms: nostril and skull injury. Fish were anesthetized with 0.02% MS222 (Sigma-Aldrich) and injuries were performed in both telencephalic hemispheres. Nostril injury was performed as described previously (Baumgart et al., 2012). For the skull injury, a micro-knife (Fine Science Tools) was inserted vertically through the skull into the medial region of the telencephalon.
Growth protocol Fish were kept under standard husbandry conditions
Extracted molecule total RNA
Extraction protocol RNeasy Kit (Qiagen) including on-column DNAse digestion
Label biotin
Label protocol Ovation PicoSL WTA System V2 and Encore Biotin Module (Nugen)

Hybridization protocol According to the Affymetrix expression protocol (HWS kit)
Scan protocol According to the Affymetrix expression protocol (GeneChip Scanner 3000 7G)
Description Gene expression data from zebrafish telencephalon 1 day after nostril injury
Data processing RMA probeset summary with standard settings of the Affymetrix Expression Console software (v.1.3) including median polish and Sketch-Quantile normalisation
