Extracted molecule total RNA
Extraction protocol Cardiac total RNA was extracted using ISOGEN II (Nippon Gene, #311-07361) according to manufacturer's instruction. Ribosomal RNA (rRNA) was removed using RiboMinus Eukaryote Kit (Thermo Fisher Scientific, #A1083708).
cDNA libraries were prepared using SOLiD total RNA-Seq kit (Thermo Fisher Scientific, #4445374) according to manufacturer's instruction.

Library strategy RNA-Seq
Library source transcriptomic
Library selection cDNA
Instrument model AB 5500xl Genetic Analyzer

Description processed data file: PRMT1-WT_vs_PRMT1-CKO.xlsx
Data processing Reads were mapped on GRCm38 mouse reference genome and quantified using CLC Genomics Workbench (Qiagen).
Read counts were normalized by calculating number of reads per kilobase per million (RPKM) for each transcript in individual samples using the CLC Genomic Workbench software (Qiagen).
Genome_build: GRCm38
