| Data processing |
The data were analyzed with Microarray Suite version 5.0 (MAS 5.0) using Affymetrix default analysis settings and global scaling as normalization method. After normalization, the expression levels within each chip were divided by the median value for all the probes whose expression was regarded as present on the array, and then log base 2 transformed.
