Title Comparison of global gene expression profile associated with inhalation anesthesia between sevoflurane and desflurane

Summary Comparative gene expression profiling analysis of RNA-seq data for livers from rats subjected to inhalational anesthesia with either sevoflurane or desflurane and their controls that were treated with sevoflurane or desflurane only briefly until the loss of their consciousness.
 
Overall design 4 samples

Submitter states: There is 6-hour gap in the timing of tissue harvesting between control and anesthetized rats. To eliminate the effect of circadian rhythm on alteration in gene expression levels, we re-conducted the same RNA-sequencing experiment using new samples in which tissue harvesting had been conducted at approximately the same timing of the day (actually 3:00 pm) for all the samples. These data were submitted in GSE24436.
