Title |
Control-2 |
Sample type |
RNA |
Source name |
liver of rat fed a high-fat diet and high-fructose water without Eucommia ulmoides leaves
Organism |
Rattus norvegicus |
Characteristics |
strain: Wistar/ST gender: male tissue: liver
Treatment protocol |
Rats fed a high-fat diet and high-fructose water were orally administrated Eucommia ulmoides leaf extract as drinking water. After 5 weeks, rats were anesthetized and killed by exsanguination. Parts of liver of each rat was taken and immediately immersed in RNAlater (Applied Biosystems).
Extracted molecule |
total RNA |
Extraction protocol |
RNAiso extraction (Takara Bio) of total RNA was performed according to the manufacturer's instructions.
Label |
Cy3
Label protocol |
Cy3-labeled cRNA were prepared from 500 ng total RNA according to the standard Agilent protocol.
Hybridization protocol |
Following fragmentation, 1.65 ug of cRNA were hybridized on a Whole Rat Genome Microarray 4x44K (Agilent) and wawhed according to the standard Agilent protocol.
Scan protocol |
Microarrays were scanned using a DNA Microarray Scanner (Agilent).
Description |
gene expression data from liver of rat fed a high-fat diet and high-fructose water without Eucommia ulmoides leaves
Data processing |
The scanned images were analyzed with Agilent Feature Extraction 10.1.1.1 (Agilent Technologies) to obtain background subtracted and spatially detrended processed signal intensities.
